How I scaled my business

Author: Colin Ellis

What is your annual revenue?

Multiple six figures and growing.

Describe your revenue streams and principle costs.

Revenue Streams:

  • personal training fees from clients
  • nutrition products
  • for-purchase programs/guides

Principle Costs:

  • trainer pay
  • administration support
  • website, app and software

How much did your Gorgo Fitness Magazine and its website cost to create?

Around $25k.

Do you have a plan to scale the business?

Yes.  This is a new market/industry and I have fine-tuned the business model and service delivery over the past couple years in order to be scalable. I’m excited for what’s to come!

Where do you see potential for market growth?

The online training market is in its infancy and I’m excited to be a front-runner in its disruption of a traditional physical service delivery. It’s not an easy model to do well but my passion for everything in it (e.g., fitness, service, empowerment, technology) is the perfect blend for me.

Do you have an exit plan?

Yes.  There isn’t just one but keeping an eye on trends and where the market is going while driving the business forward is exciting.
